The whole last paragraph is a deal breaker. Your closing statement should be a call for action. It's like your profile builds up interest, and the closing should be like closing a deal, you know what I mean?

Imagine you go car shopping. A car salesman tells you all the great things about the car; you take it for a test drive; you get really excited about it and you are almost ready to pull your checkbook out and buy that car on the spot. And then something happens. The salesman suddenly loses his enthusiasm and says, well, think about it and if you decide you may want to buy it I hope to hear back from you. ewwww........... Would you buy that car?

Let’s look at all these questions starting with the question is the break up necessary? Here we will talk about the reasons to break up with your boyfriend. What are some of the reasons to break up? Legitimate break up reasons include cheating or infidelity, abuse (physical, emotional, verbal or even sexual), lack of compatibility (different goals in life, different lifestyles, and different views on what is expected from a relationship).

Most of the reasons for a break up listed above do not need an explanation. If your boyfriend is cheating on you, has cheated on you, or is looking for other people to date, you need to end the relationship if you want to avoid further heartache. This relationship is not going anywhere and is doomed.

Breaking up due to abuse of any kind is another solid reason for a break up. Emotional abuse may include put-downs, verbal abuse of different kinds, such as name calling, and also any sort of sick behavior intended by the individual to harm their partner’s self-esteem, or to hurt their partner emotionally, or doing things that are known to hurt the other person emotionally. Examples would be trying to make the other person jealous consistently, comparing the other person to others including one’s ex’s and resulting negative feedback, for instance, saying things like, “My ex girlfriend was such and such, and you are not like her”, or making a public statement that an ex was hot, super smart, etc. at the same time implying that you are not as great as her. Generally, comparing a current girlfriend or boyfriend with an ex, and making specific statements about his or her looks, performance, abilities etc. and prizing that ex for such qualities may very well be interpreted as emotional abuse. No one wants to be compared to someone else, especially when that comparison is not favorable.

So, how do you go about breaking up with someone you have developed an attachment to? Especially when an alternative is being alone and lonely? A lot of people stay and long overstay in dysfunctional relationships because there is not much alternative. They tend to think that a relationship (or any relationship) is better than none. This is the reason women stay in abusive relationships for many years, or course along with other contributing factors, such as financial constrains, children a couple may have together, and other reasons that make a break up especially difficult.

Let’s talk about the emotional aspect of a break up versus staying in a dysfunctional relationship. If you find yourself in a relationship that does not in any way make you happy, and you have tried talking, working things out, counseling and other ways to fix a relationship, and nothing seems to work, you need to make a firm decision to end a relationship and stick to your decision.
Find a “sponsor”, in other words a person you can talk to who knows your situation with your boyfriend, and is supportive of your decision to end the relationship. Some people may not be very supportive, saying that a relationship is better than no relationship at all; they may say you won’t find anyone like this person again, and sabotage your decision to break up in other ways. At times, however, we may have a sponsor who is completely supportive of the decision to break up, but we ourselves tend to confront that sponsor when she advocates for the break up. Some people may get on the defensive hearing someone else say negative things about your relationship. It is normal to try to defend your relationship and justify things that are negative, making excuses for the other person. After all, we have had a relationship with this person and this dysfunctional relationship is in part what we have built.

In this case, it is important to realize that while you take a responsibility for the relationship to turn the way it did, ultimately if it is not working, and is getting worse, you should stop blaming yourself and making excuses for the other person and just move on. It will be easier to move on when the relationship has spiraled down to the point where little passion is present and the only factors holding the relationship together are familiarity and grown attachment, but not much compatibility and positive qualities of a healthy relationship.

Getting back to your routine you used to have before the start of this relationship, doing things you used to enjoy that may have been put on the back burner because of this relationship, getting together with your friends, especially old friends you have not seen in a long time, and who don’t know your boyfriend, are some of the things you can do to occupy your mind. Starting to date is another way to get your mind off of the relationship you are trying to end if you exercise caution. Many people who are fresh out of a relationship tend to use their date to vent about the ex. This is counterproductive. If you want to find a new relationship you need to treat dating as such. No one wants to get involved with a person who has baggage and unresolved issues. If you feel you are still very much attached to your boyfriend you are trying to dump, you may want to hold onto dating unless you feel that the only thing that’s holding the relationship together is your fear of being alone. In this case dating new people is a good way to move on. But if you still have unresolved issues with your ex, you need to keep yourself occupied by things other than dating. Meeting new people has great entertainment value but if all you want to talk about is your ex, you are not ready to date other people just yet, especially because it’s no fun for anyone to be your shrink for the evening.

Instead, engage in other activities that preferably do not remind you of the time spend with your ex. If the two of you used to go to a specific restaurant, a bar, a park or a movie theater, going there alone will only rehash painful memories and make you want to get back together. Instead, find new exciting places, new activities or forgotten activities and places.

After a while you will feel ready and open for a new relationship.

If you are looking for Paige Parker photo, you’ve come to the right place. One of my subscribers wrote to me in reply to my post Dating Without Drama Book Review asking me whether I know or have ever seen Paige Parker photo or Paige Parker photos and I have collected all possible photos of Paige Parker or with the tag “Paige Parker” that I was able to locate on the web.

I am going to post all those photos that represent the searches for “Paige Parker photo” down below.

First off, I want to say that there were 1,500,000 searches produced for the term “Paige Parker photo”, so I tried to select the ones that resemble Paige Parker, the author of “Dating Without Drama” book. And you can do it too, by simply typing in the search box the term Paige Parker or Paige Parker photo and see how many results will return.

Fist line of search results took me to Google images page that had all kinds of women of all ages, men, and tangible items. Here are some of those photos.

First photo in the search was from California State University, Department of Mathematics. I am not posting that photo here because I don’t think it would be right to post a picture of a state school employee on this blog without her expressed permission.

Second photo found for the term “Paige Parker photo” was a photo of a yellow Mercedes and two folks in it. Apparently the name Paige Parker is a very common name and there were a lot of photos of women named Paige Parker, but this photo featured an older hedge fund tycoon with his much younger wife Paige Parker (don’t know if that’s the same Paige Parker). Wikipedia search that I followed to look him up mentioned the name Paige Parker, but the link to Paige Parker’s page on Wikipedia had been deleted. Here is what Wikipedia’s page said:

“Pages and media are often deleted by Wikipedia administrators in accordance with our deletion policy. This page explains how to find out why a particular page or file was removed, and what you can do about a deletion you disagree with. Do not despair: none of the information on a "deleted" page has actually been lost. Continue reading for details.” Further search for Paige Parker on Wikipedia resulted in a page that said: No page with that title exists, so we’ll have to rely on Google search results.

Going to the next picture I found a photo of a young girl in Paris. She looked no older than fifteen, and provided that she is in France, she is not very likely to be the Paige Parker we are looking for.

The following photos were of multiple Paige Parker’s of different ages living all over, starting with actually an elderly doctor featured in his office, moving onto a photo of an infant, a few photos of various people that I would describe as photo journalism or life style photography, and a photo from Las Vegas restaurants website featuring a yummy dish, most of which photos were by Paige Parker, a photographer.

They were clearly not the pictures of Paige Parker that we need, so we’ll move onto the ones that actually mention “Dating Without Drama”, Dating Without Drama book, and such, that clearly have reference to Paige Parker the author of Dating Without Drama and other related dating advice pieces.

So, the first relevant photo found was of the cover of the book Dating Without Drama. Since it really is an electronic book, there is no real cover, but if you can print it out, you will have the cover, so it really is the book cover graphics, that’s what it is. If you are wondering what it looks like, you can see it in my post Dating Without Drama Review, but for now let’s move onto the next picture of Paige Parker or any Paige Parker I should say since we don’t know when the one we are looking for can be found.

Soooo………. The next photo that had any relevance to the subject matter at hand was a photo of a woman named Paige Parker from Facebook. Trying to follow the link I found that the page was deleted, so no luck here.

You would think that if one is trying to promote her book, she would care to at least show readers her pictures, since there is no such thing as book signing for an electronic book. That’s what everyone else does. Just look at handsome Christian Carter, or the author of Women Men Adore, Bob Grant, who also has a photo on his site How To Get Him Back, and How To Find The Man Of Your Dreams. Or, the dating author Mimi Tanner who also has a photo of herself on her site and even has recorded her voice on her website to verify that she really is a real person. The author of Men Made Easy, Kara Oh even has a video on her website in addition to her picture. Let alone, myself, I post my photos on my books’ websites Find Your Future Husband and 101 Reasons Men Don’t Call as well as multiple video dating tips on my YouTube Channel. And I can continue this endlessly………

So, why would a writer of a book avoid posting her own pictures? After all, it is a promotional tool, isn’t it? And why would a person doing business under the name Paige Parker have to incorporate? Of course, there are other reasons to incorporate, but the mere fact that Dating Without Drama Inc. (the corporation) is not associated with the name Paige Parker makes me think that because there are legalities, potential claims, etc. one would have to protect the interests of the corporation and its work product, thus registering a legal entity makes perfect sense, since if you are doing business under the name of person who does not exist, you simply cannot represent the interests of such business under your own name if it is different from the name of the business or your pen name.

Let’s move onto the last photo that I found that was relevant to Dating Without Drama.

The next picture corresponding with the name Paige Parker was the one I am posting below. It basically a quote that says: “Why didn’t he call me? Is he the one? How can I get over him? I address all of the questions that are weighing on single women’s minds in my e-book.” and it was actually taken from Paige Parker book’s press release with contact information for Ben Goodman, Dating Without Drama Inc.

So, is Ben Goodman really Paige Parker?

It seems to me that Paige Parker is a nickname and such person does not exist. Since Dating Without Drama Inc. is clearly a corporation, let’s look at their corporate record at the Secretary of State website. The corporate headquarters are listed in Los Angeles, so let’s look at the SOS CA.

A quick search for Dating Without Drama Inc. produced an active listing with the agent for service of process listed as BENJAMIN D GOODMAN. Normally, I would think that when the corporate agent for service of process is not one of the officers of the company as we know of, that person is typically the company’s lawyer, right? So, moving onto the California Bar Association website (in case you didn’t know you can locate any lawyer’s record at their respective State Bar Association) we search for attorney by name. The search produced two Benjamin Goodman’s however neither one of them was Benjamin “D” Goodman. There were Goodman, Benjamin Joseph who was deceased (earlier admitted to Bar in Los Angeles in September 1929) and Goodman, Ernest Benjamin who was currently inactive (meaning he does not currently practice law) and lived in Sherman Oaks, which is in Sacramento area (about 600-700 miles North from Los Angeles)

Next, looking for Paige Parker’s picture I came across a Bebo page of a woman living in New Zealand.

There, amongst all the pictures of babies, men, and group pictures that listed names in the order, Paige, Parker and Jeremy, there was one that came from Paige Parker’s website and that is the picture I am posting down below.

The first point to keep in mind when creating your dating profile is you must be absolutely truthful about who you are. You are seeking a man who will like you for you. Scrutinize past dating relationships and inventory the things that you liked and the things you did not like about them. If your ex smoked in the house and you couldn’t stand it, you won’t like it any better the next time around. If you love cats and have always wanted to get one, say that you are an animal lover and would like to have pets at some point in the future. Someone who is allergic to animals is not the man for you.

2. Gather the batter together to form a form loaf about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It will be flat on the bottom and slightly curved at the top, so the ends will be less high than the middle.
3. To create the biscotti, slice the loaf crosswise into twenty-four
1/2-inch slices and place them on two separate dehydrator trays with twelve on each tray. A nonstick sheet is not required.
4. Dehydrate at 125 degrees for 4 hours. After 4 hours, turn the dehydrator down to 105 degrees and continue dehydrating for another 48 hours. Biscotti should be firm and crisp.
5. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 month, or in the freezer for up to two months.

There are people on those forums who have no life but to destroy you. Why do they say it? Even if you are not seeking attention, you are attracting attention.

One time I decided to post a question. I had a picture up but my profile clearly said, not single, not looking. Besides multiple e-mails asking me to have a one night stand and making derogatory comments I got severely beaten down on the forums. Other women referred to me as an attention seeking troll, discussed why I posted a picture if I said I wasn’t seeking men? My corrections and my response follows.

No offence but this is really bad. First off, the highlighted portions need to go completely. Sorry I have to be frank with you if you want an honest feedback. Smiley faces show immaturity. Women are not attracted by smileys in men’s e-mails. Secondly, poor punctuation. Things like …………., !!!, need to go.

Thirdly, referring negatively to other men especially not knowing the facts reflects extremely negatively on you. Saying about other men “they are all geeks or freaks or gay” will never get you a single response. FYI Most single men on match.com are smart, educated, and by far are not geeks or freaks. The days when online dating catered to socially inept people are long gone. These days everyone is on some dating site, and men in Silicon Valley are by far the smartest and great catches overall, so putting them down only makes you look bad.

Fourthly you say, “While I was doing a search, your profile showed up again” – this approach shows two things:
1. Insecurity (why didn’t you contact her the first time you saw her?)
2. Saying you were doing search is stating the obvious. No need to say that. You’ve found her profile; clearly you were doing a search

Five: when you say “honestly” you are basically again being redundant. No one comes forward and says, dishonestly, I think blah, blah, blah. Of course if you say something you hope the person will believe you. No need to say “honestly”

Six: when you say, “when are we going to meet for coffee?” etc. this sounds like a week approach of a guy who is trying really hard to be cool yet shaking with fear.

Here is what a basic e-mail sample should be like:

I am sure you hear that a lot but you are absolutely stunning. But you don’t need me to tell you this. I enjoy cooking and making new recipes for my friends and family. I am outgoing, funny, family-oriented, educated, friendly, honest (to a fault), affectionate, romantic, communicative, intelligent, devoted, well-grounded, sincere and very, very passionate. I have a bunch of faults as well, but if I list them right now I will scare away everyone :). Just kidding. I am very open when it comes to religion. I think being a good person is what matters. I stay busy with work but I also make time for my friends and family.

I have friends and family spread out all over the place so I also make lots of trips out of town to stay in touch with them. I'm hooked on traveling, whether it be here in the states or internationally. I love experiencing different cultures and seeing what the world has to offer. I enjoy the outdoors and prefer doing adventure activities when I travel. One of the most important things in life is the memories you make with your friends and loved ones. Life should never be taken too seriously and the number one rule should be to always have fun. It doesn't matter where you are...it's who you're with!

Education: Berkeley Major in Management.

FYI : I love to cook all specialties, wine, dancing, Karaoke, International movies, reading, golfing, tennis, of course the gym, love the beach and all outdoor activities. I speak French, of course English

So, what makes it so bad? you ask. For one, he is not attaching a picture. Why would I even want to look at his profile? Secondly, there is absolutely nothing at all in this e-mail that makes this guy stand out. We call work, cook and went to school somewhere. We all have brown, blond, red hair; or not. We all like to travel, right? This e-mail is not exciting and goes right in the trash can.
